  “Now, I’ve got some interesting news for you.” He flipped open the file. “I’m going to file for divorce and you’re going to agree.”

  “I’m not going to divorce you,” she said. “I won’t do it.”

  “What’s number three?”

  Raoul watched as she stared around the whole room. “You’re going to let him kill me?”

  Raoul left the commotion of the basement while Crazy finished up with his wife.

  “I take it my information has been put to good use,” Diaz said.

  “The best.” Raoul shook hands with his friend before slapping him on the back. “You always come through for us.”

  “I take a nice lump sum out as well, Raoul. I don’t go away empty handed.” Diaz smiled. “So tell me about your little piece then.”

  Shaking his head, Raoul left the clubhouse to find Mary outside reading a book. She tucked some hair behind her ear, not watching anyone or anything.   “We’ll try that tonight.”

  Mary smiled up at him, jumping down from the wall. “I want to go and visit Holly. She’s madder than hell that the doctor has advised her to rest, and Duke’s forcing her to.”

  “I’ll be there in a moment. Go ahead and start the truck up.”

  Raoul watched her leave. She wasn’t showing yet with her pregnancy. “You let her read porn?”
