Under a Dom's Care Read online

  She was warmed by his touch. “It shouldn’t be that way, Jake. Your parents are supposed to be there for you, love you, care for you.”

  “My parents are nothing like that. I accepted it years ago. They’re just a chain around my neck.” He dropped a kiss to her lips. “I’ll be back before you know it. Eat your salad, call Maya, and arrange for us to eat that cake. We’re going to be married.”

  Jake entered the large city apartment complex thirty minutes later. The last time he’d been here was three years ago when he first took the job at Extreme. His parents disapproved of him the whole of his life. He wasn’t lying to Bella when he told her how he felt about them. They meant nothing to him.

  Ever since he’d moved out when he was eighteen, he had nothing to do with them other than necessary. They were necessary to get into college. Other than that, he didn’t need them.

  Several women looked his way as he passed. Ignoring all of them, he entered the lift to take him to the top floor. It had to be the top as his parents looked down over everyone else.

  The door pinged open, letting him onto the floor. He knocked on the main door and waited for his parents to let him inside. A butler answered the door, one Jake didn’t recognize but who clearly recognized him.

  “Come in, sir.”

  He walked past the butler going toward the room sounds were coming out of. When he got to the entrance and looked in he saw his mother, dressed in the latest fashion with her hair piled on top of her head. The latest round of Botox removed any wrinkles in sight. No one would realize she was nearing fifty. She was tall, slender, and the ugliness in her eyes always annoyed him. One look at Bella and his mother would rip her apart. June Smith would never allow her son to marry such a mouse.

  Shaking his head, he entered the room, spotting his father near the window. The last rumor of his father was that Edward Smith took care of three mistresses in three different states along with his wife.

  This was his family. The image of Bella’s family entered his mind. His mother and father were far apart. No love or need between them. He doubted either loved the other.

  “It’s about time. I was starting to worry,” June said, glaring at him. “Your son is here.”

  Edward turned.

  “So, this is your son.”

  Another voice brought his attention to the other side of the room. A blonde with fake tits and a skinny frame smiled at him.

  “I’m Shawna. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

  “Son, meet your future wife,” Edward said, moving closer into the room.

  “I’m engaged to be married.”

  “We know all about the fat frump. There’s money there but not enough, baby. Shawna is the heir to a line of beauty products and what’s more, she wants the match just as much as you,” June said.

  Jake looked between all three people.

  “You can keep your woman on the side. I won’t interfere, providing you’ll be seen at social events and then give me a child when the need is there. I’ll do what I want, you’ll do what you want. Only our names will be tied together,” Shawna said, taking over the conversation. “Everything will be perfect.”

  He looked at his father who was already talking on his phone.

  Images of Sabrina and Kyle entered his head. Jake wondered what Kyle would think if someone even suggested he keep a mistress.

  June and Shawna started arranging the wedding.

  Put a stop to this for the last time.

  “No,” he said.

  “Oh for fuck sake, Jake, grow the fuck up. You’re marrying Shawna and that’s final. You never do what you’re told. You’re always hanging out with the riff-raff at that club. No wonder you’re a problem child,” June ranted. “You know where your bread is buttered. What will you do without us?”

  What would he do without them?

  Smiling, Jake held his hands up in the air. “I’d be fucking happy. You’re an embarrassment to me.” He turned to Shawna. “I won’t be marrying you. Find some other poor sap to link your name with.” Back to his parents, he shot them a glare. “As for the two of you. This is final. I’ve had enough of being a pawn for you to use in your pathetic battles or your aim to better yourself. It’s over, finished.”

  June snorted. The words that came out of her mouth filled him with anger. “If you think we’re going to accept that fat bitch—”

  Jake interrupted his mother before she got chance to finish her sentence. “You’ll not get a chance to get near her or any children. I’ll be working at Extreme and providing for my wife and any children we hope to have. I don’t need you. I don’t fucking want you.” No one said crap like that about his wife and got away with it. “I finally know what it’s like to have a family and neither of you fit the bill.” Jake started to laugh. For the first time in years he felt alive. The prospect of his life had never been so freeing. “This is the last time you’ll see or hear from me.”

  “I doubt that. You’ll come crawling back when you need us,” June said, flicking her hand out. “You were always a sniveling little boy.”

  Jake chuckled. “No, I won’t. This is the best thing I’ve ever done.”

  Turning on his heel, he walked toward the door.

  “You’ll have no money.”

  Glancing over his shoulder toward his father, he smiled. “Apart from the inheritance from my grandfather, but it’s going to be the most fantastic life I’ve ever been part of.”

  He left his parents apartment, going back down to the ground floor. Climbing into his car, he checked his cell phone to see Bella had gone to see her parents and wished him luck with his own.

  Closing his cell, he made his way toward the Drummond’s place. He heard commotion around the garden when he parked his car. He walked around and saw Bella spinning on the porch wearing a white dress. Jake didn’t care if that was the dress or if it was bad luck.

  “Sabrina, move out of the way. He’s on a mission,” Kyle said.

  Her mother moved out of his way. Charging to Bella’s side, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her in close. Slamming his lips down on hers, he plundered her mouth with his tongue.

  Bella held him tightly, her fingers tugging on the hairs at the back of his neck.

  “Wow,” she whispered when he broke the kiss.

  “I love you.”

  “Did it go well at your parents?” she asked.

  Jake laughed. “I’ve gotten them out of my life for good.”

  “Why is that good news?”

  “They’re vicious vipers, Bella. They’d do everything in their power to tear us apart. I won’t let them do that.” He told her about their plan for him to marry Shawna while keeping her as a mistress.

  “Babe, get me my gun. I’m going to teach those fuckers a lesson,” Kyle said, cursing.

  “Honey, you don’t own a gun and there’s no way you’re getting one. You’ll probably take a body part before you take out a target,” Sabrina said, affectionately.

  “Are you happy about this?” Bella asked.

  “Babe, I’ve never felt this way before in my life. I’m free to do whatever the hell I want and the only thing I want to do is marry you.”

  She chuckled and Jake claimed her lips once again.

  Three months later

  Jake stared across the dance floor watching his woman talk with Ryan and Jesse. The other couple was married and expecting their first child and he’d invited them to his own wedding. Glancing down at his wedding ring, he was filled with pride and love at being owned by the prettiest woman in the world. Bella in the last three months had blossomed under his care. She was the perfect submissive who loved taking a good spanking. They’d gone from his hand to the crop. She’d started begging for him to use the wooden paddle he purchased for a treat but he kept refusing. The importance of growing a strong bond was to build up her pain and pleasure threshold.

  “You’re happy,” Chris said, standing
beside him.

  His best friend had agreed to be his best man and would soon be dancing with Maya as the maid of honor. Daisy was also maid of honor at Bella’s insistence. The two women shared responsibility in their duties for the wedding.

  “I’m married to the best woman in the world.”

  “Yeah, you can’t stop smiling about it either.”

  Chuckling, he hit his friend on the back. “Your sister is married and happy. Your parents and now your best friend has taken the plunge. It’s time for you to try it.”

  “Next you’ll be spouting out shit about babies,” Chris grumbled.

  “I sure hope so. I can’t wait to see Bella pregnant with my baby.”

  Making his way across the dance floor, Jake wanted his wife to himself. Kyle stepped in front of him, stopping him from getting to his destination.

  “Hey, Kyle,” he said, shaking his father-in-law’s hand.

  “You take care of my daughter, you hear. I don’t want you to hurt her or do anything to make her sad, are we clear?”

  “You’ll get your gun and castrate me. I’m well aware of the threat.” Glancing over his shoulder to his gorgeous wife, he leaned in close. “If I ever hurt her or give you reason to doubt my feelings for her, I’ll take myself out.”

  “Good, it’s the exact same thing I said to Sabrina’s father. Not a day goes by when I don’t try and make her smile. She’s my life.” The love shining in Kyle’s eyes was something Jake wanted.

  When he looked at Bella, there was no other woman for him. She called to him, begged for him to love her and take care of her.

  “I’m going to dance with my wife,” he said, walking around Kyle.

  He wrapped an arm around her hip a long few seconds later and nodded at Ryan.

  “Congratulations,” Ryan said. Jesse said the same thing.

  “Thank you.” For several minutes he made conversation talking about their plans. “I’m going to take my wife for a little spin on the dance floor.”

  The room went quiet as he led her out. Bella didn’t want any song playing and the band played a simple classic piece she liked. Everyone and everything faded away as he drew her in close.

  “You look so beautiful,” he said, kissing her cheek.

  “I feel beautiful. You’re handsome, breathtaking. You make me proud to call you husband,” she teased.

  Laughing, he rested his chin on top of her head, closing his eyes.

  “And my Dom,” she whispered.

  Opening his eyes, he looked down at her. “You’ll always be my woman, Bella. For the rest of our lives I will give you everything you’ve ever dreamed about.” He dropped a kiss to her lips.

  Commotion on the dance floor pulled them out of their moment. Maya and Chris were arguing. Daisy was breaking it up. In one swift move Maya threw Daisy into Chris’s arms to do the dance.

  “Okay, I think they’re going to need a little work to get together,” Bella said.

  “They sure have a lot of issues to work out.” He spun her away from the crowd, finding a private space for them to talk without anyone watching them.

  “I love you, Jake.”

  “I’ve got something more for you.”

  He reached into his jacket to pull out the box. “I got the jeweler to make this especially for you.”

  She took the box, opening it up. Inside lay a silver chained collar with the letter ‘B’ hanging in the center.

  “What’s this?” she asked.

  “It’s a collar. I want you to wear it and to show every other Dom out there who you belong to. No one but people within the lifestyle will know you’re a collared submissive.” His hands were sweating. They’d never discussed collaring her in private. He wanted a token of his ownership around her neck to stop others from thinking they could have her.

  “Jake, Sir,” she said.

  “What? Don’t you like it? Do you want me to get rid of it? I can. We can forget all about this and I can throw it away.”

  He made to take the box from her fingers.

  She shook her head, cradling the box against her breast. “Don’t you even think of taking my collar from me? This is so beautiful, perfect, and words cannot even begin to express how you make me feel.”

  Tears gathered in her eyes and started to fall down. “This is so beautiful, Jake.”

  “Do you want me to put it on you?” he asked, throat thick with emotion.

  “Yes, please.” She gave him back the box. He took the case from her fingers and withdrew the collar.

  Lifting up her hair, he eased the clasp together, securing the collar around her neck. Spinning her around, he placed the B in the center of her neck.

  “How does it look?”

  “Perfect.” Cupping her cheek, he slammed his lips down, claiming her for his own. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her body close to his.

  “I don’t want to go back in there,” she said, groaning.

  He rested his head against hers. “We’d be bad hosts if we don’t. Your father may shoot me.”

  She laughed. “I doubt it. He can’t even fire a gun.”

  Jake took her hand. “We’ll go in together,” he said.

  “Okay.”

  They took a couple of steps and Jake stopped. “Are you happy?”

  “Why wouldn’t I be? I’ve married the man I fell in love with.” She cupped his cheek, running a finger across his lips. “I love you, Jake Smith, and I look forward to a future of being your wife, loving you more than anyone else, and giving you children.”

  “I’ll hold you to that,” he said, claiming her lips.

  They walked back to their wedding party together.

  Epilogue

  Two years later

  Jake locked the door to their playroom satisfied with the punishment he’d given his wife. She’d walked across a busy road yesterday without even looking and almost got run over. If he’d not been there she probably would have been. He was so angry for putting herself and their unborn child in danger.

  Without Bella, he knew he wouldn’t be able to live. Being with her was like breathing. He needed her.

  For the next couple of hours her ass was going to be a lovely shade of pink. He was always careful when he dealt her punishment with her pregnant. Jake took advice from Ryan who knew how to punish a pregnant sub.

  Jake and Bella were expecting their first child. She was two months in and they were going to her first ultrasound today to find out if it was a boy or girl. Seeing the stick turn blue after she peed on it played in Jake’s mind over and over. Never in all of his life had he been so nervous for this test to turn positive. They both wanted a child, a boy or girl, neither of them cared so long as it was healthy.

  “Thank you, Sir. I was careless yesterday and I needed to be taught a lesson,” Bella said.

  He turned toward her bowed head. Tilting her head back with a finger underneath her chin, he stared into her eyes. “I will take any risks on your life seriously. There will be no getting out of the punishment, Bella. You mean far too much to me and I will not allow you to put yourself at risk, do I make myself clear?” he asked.

  “Yes, Sir.”

  “Good. Come on, let’s get to your doctor’s appointment.”

  The doctor they were seeing was a Dom who frequented the club and offered his services, seeing as he knew Jake and Bella were in a Dom/sub lifestyle. Jake took the offer especially when Ryan listed all the man’s positives.

  During the drive Bella talked about the fuss she was getting at the library. Her colleagues wouldn’t let her lift more than two books and they were firing advice at her left and right. “I feel like I should take notes so I don’t get anything wrong,” she said, chuckling.

  “Maybe you should. Your father was telling me about the birth.” He shuddered. “He was there for both of you coming into the world. His descriptions were, erm, yeah, let’s just say I really respect him.”

  She laughed. “He passed out at each birth. Listen to Mom t
ell it next time. The moment she started screaming and he saw what was happening and the blood, he was out on the floor. They had to get an extra set of doctors to deal with him.

  “Seriously? I can’t believe that. He had me believing he was a hard nut who can take on everything.” He parked the car outside the hospital.

  “Nope, he’s a wimp.”

  Together they made their way toward the building. He signed and dealt with all the paperwork while Bella sat down, reading magazines. Her stomach was nicely rounded but not overly so. Jake couldn’t wait to see her in the full bloom of pregnancy. Her tits were larger as well.

  They were called through to the private room. Jake greeted the doctor then took his seat while Bella climbed on the table.

  “This is your first ultrasound, correct?” the doctor asked.

  “Yes.”

  “Okay, let’s see what we’ve got here.”

  Gel was squirted onto her exposed stomach then the stick smeared it over her lower abdomen. The doctor fired off questions. The ones he couldn’t answer, Bella took over and answered.

  “Right, erm…”

  The doctor didn’t finish as he looked at her stomach.

  Gripping Bella’s hand tightly, Jake waited for the news.

  “What is it?” he asked, when silence continued to fill the room.

  “There are two heartbeats here. Yes, look, there is one and then down here, there is another. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith, you’re expecting twins.”

  For the rest of the appointment, Jake didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Twins. They were going to have twins. Crap, he needed to get double of everything. The money wasn’t a problem. His main concern was his sub’s pale face.

  Outside in the car, she held onto him tightly. “Two babies. We’re going to have two babies.”

  “We’ll get through this, baby. I know we can.”

  “How can you know?” Bella asked.

  “We’ve got each other and we can do everything together.”
